“We’re about simplicity and smoke” say the owners of Rök, using old cooking technique’s of Northern Europe, their dishes taste incredible. Along with our clients, we wanted the design and build to run in line with those themes, using old reclaimed timbers, we wanted to keep the build relatively simple but with a few eye-catching features such as the reclaimed parquet flooring bar front.

Having completed a number of bar and pub refurbishments for this client, we were intrigued when we were asked to do a restaurant for them. But having teamed up with an amazing chef in Matt Young for this very successful venue, it’s easy to see why they did.
